Terms of use
Plain language, no traps. By using QuietBill you agree to the following.
The service
QuietBill provides browser-based tools for creating invoices, estimates, and receipts. The free tier requires no account and may be used for personal or commercial purposes without limit. Don't use QuietBill for anything unlawful, including creating documents intended to deceive or defraud.
Your documents are your responsibility
QuietBill is a formatting tool, not an accountant, lawyer, or tax advisor. You are responsible for the accuracy of the documents you create and for meeting the invoicing, tax, and record-keeping requirements that apply to your business and jurisdiction (for example, VAT fields or mandatory e-invoicing schemes in some countries).
Your data, your device
Documents and settings are stored only in your browser's local storage (see the privacy policy). Browser data can be erased by you, your device, or your browser's settings at any time — keep copies of PDFs you need. QuietBill cannot recover locally stored data, because we never had it.
QuietBill Pro
Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Gumroad, the merchant of record for the transaction. Your license key unlocks Pro features in any browser where you enter it, for your own use (one license per person or business, in reason). Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase by replying to your Gumroad receipt. Keys obtained fraudulently, refunded, or charged back are deactivated.
No warranty
QuietBill is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuietBill and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, and total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Pro (or $0 if you use the free tier).
Changes
These terms may be updated as the service evolves; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
